Dry Mixed Shotcrete is Also Called “GUNITE”.
The process begins by mixing dry sand with cement. This mixture is then pumped through a series of hoses until it reaches a nozzle. Inside the nozzle pressurized water is introduced, thoroughly mixing with the other ingredients. The mixed material “Gunite” is then discharged or “shot” from the nozzle at high velocity onto the surface. At Gunite Works we feel that Gunite is a superior product that has many applications in the
construction industry.
