Advantages of Gunite:
- Adjusting the mix to meet field conditions by varying the amount
of raw materials and water. - Able to be transported longer distances – unlike ready mix concrete that needs to be unloaded within 90 minutes.
- Finer aggregates make for a less pitted surface thus requiring less finish work.
- Best way to apply concrete where formwork is impractical or access to the work area is difficult.
- Gunite is usually faster and more cost effective than traditional concrete.
